Rajasthan extends from 23°03′ N to 30°12′ N latitudes, covering a latitudinal difference of 7°09′.- The southernmost point is Borkund village in Banswara district.
- The northernmost point is Kona village in Sri Ganganagar district.
- Longitudinal Extent:
It lies between 69°30′ E and 78°17′ E longitudes, with a longitudinal difference of 8°47′.- The westernmost point is Katra village in Jaisalmer district.
- The easternmost point is Silana village in Dholpur district.
- Tropic of Cancer:
The Tropic of Cancer (23°30′ N) passes through the southern part of Rajasthan, touching Banswara (near its center) and Chikhli village of Dungarpur.
The Tropic of Cancer passes through Rajasthan for about 26 kilometers.
