एक 11 साल का जर्मन लड़का Helmuth अपने माता-पिता को गंभीर बातें करते सुनता है।
उसके पिता, जो एक Nazi डॉक्टर थे, डर रहे थे कि अब Allies (England, France, Russia) उनसे बदला लेंगे।
अगले दिन उन्होंने खुदकुशी कर ली 😔
👉 Helmuth के पिता Hitler के follower थे।
यहीं से सवाल उठता है —
Hitler कौन था? Nazism क्या था? Germany में ऐसा क्या हुआ कि लोग उसे ‘मसीहा’ मानने लगे?

⚔️ After World War I (1914–1918)
Germany ने Austria के साथ मिलकर Allies (England, France, Russia) के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़ी।
पर 1918 में Germany हार गया और Kaiser William II ने गद्दी छोड़ दी।
➡️ 1919 में बनी Weimar Republic, एक लोकतांत्रिक सरकार।

इस संधि ने Germany की कमर तोड़ दी 💔
- Germany ने खो दिए अपने 10% लोग और 13% क्षेत्र
- Iron का 75% और coal का 26% गया
- Germany को “War Guilt” का दोषी माना गया
- 6 Billion Pounds का मुआवज़ा देना पड़ा 💰
- Rhineland पर Allies का कब्ज़ा हुआ
👉 लोगों ने Weimar Govt को “November Criminals” कहा।

- 1919 में Spartacist League ने Russia के जैसा revolution शुरू किया।
- Weimar Govt ने Free Corps की मदद से इसे दबा दिया।

- लोग democracy से निराश हो गए और dictatorship को “solution” मानने लगे।

👶 Early Life of Hitler
- Adolf Hitler का जन्म 1889 में Austria में हुआ 🇦🇹
- बचपन में ही उसने गरीबी और संघर्ष देखा।
- First World War में soldier बनकर लड़ा और bravery medals पाए 🎖️
- Germany की हार और Versailles Treaty से वो बहुत गुस्से में था 😠
🧱 Formation of Nazi Party
- 1919 में Hitler ने German Workers’ Party join की,
जिसे बाद में नाम दिया गया – National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nazi Party) 🟥⚫⚪ - 1923 में उसने Bavaria पर कब्ज़ा करने की कोशिश की, पर असफल रहा और जेल गया ⛓️
- Jail में उसने अपनी famous book लिखी – Mein Kampf (My Struggle) 📖
जिसमें उसकी सोच – racism, nationalism और Aryan superiority थी।
📈 Depression ke Time Mein Rise
- 1929 के बाद Great Depression से लोग परेशान थे 😔
- Hitler ने लोगों को jobs, pride और future का सपना दिखाया।
- 1928 में Nazi Party को सिर्फ 2.6% वोट मिले थे,
पर 1932 में ये बढ़कर 37% हो गए 🔥
👉 Hitler अब लोगों की उम्मीद बन गया।

- Hitler एक powerful speaker था 🎙️
- उसने कहा:
- Germany की insult का बदला लूंगा! 🇩🇪
- Jobs दूंगा, economy सुधारूंगा 💼
- Versailles Treaty खत्म करूंगा 📜
- उसने mass rallies, flags (Swastika), songs aur salutes** से unity की feeling पैदा की।
- Posters, films, slogans से उसे “Germany का Messiah” कहा जाने लगा 🙌
🧨 2.1 Destruction of Democracy
- 30 January 1933 को Hitler Germany का Chancellor बना।
- February 1933 में Parliament Fire हुआ 🔥
- Hitler ने Fire Decree जारी करके सभी civic rights suspend कर दिए –
(speech, press, assembly सब खत्म)। - 1933 में Enabling Act पास हुआ – इससे Hitler को मिल गई Dictatorship की Power 👑
- बाकी सारे political parties और trade unions ban कर दिए गए 🚫
👉 अब सिर्फ Nazi Party allowed थी।
👮 Nazi State Machinery
Hitler ने society पर पूरा control पाने के लिए कई नई forces बनाई:
- SA (Storm Troopers)
- SS (Protection Squads)
- Gestapo (Secret State Police)
- SD (Security Service)
अब कोई भी citizen arrest, torture या camp भेजा जा सकता था बिना किसी trial के 😨
➡️ Germany बन गया “Most Dreaded Criminal State”.
🏗️ 2.2 Reconstruction (Hitler’s Germany)
- Hitler ने economy संभालने की जिम्मेदारी दी Hjalmar Schacht को 👨🏫
- Public work projects शुरू हुए:
- Roads, highways (Autobahn) 🛣️
- Famous people’s car – Volkswagen 🚗
- 1933–38 तक Hitler ने कई सफलता हासिल की:
- League of Nations से बाहर निकला
- Rhineland पर कब्ज़ा किया
- Austria और Germany को मिला दिया (Anschluss)
- Sudetenland (Czechoslovakia) पर कब्ज़ा
England ने चुपचाप support किया 🤝
अब Germany फिर से powerful लगने लगा।
⚔️ Towards World War II
- Hitler ने war को Germany की growth का तरीका माना।
- September 1939 में उसने Poland पर हमला किया →
World War II शुरू 💣 - 1940 में Germany, Italy और Japan ने Tripartite Pact साइन किया।
- Hitler ने USSR पर भी हमला कर दिया पर Stalingrad में हारा 😓

- Hitler मानता था कि दुनिया में सभी लोग equal नहीं हैं ❌
- उसने एक racial hierarchy बनाई:
- 🔝 Aryans (especially Nordic German Aryans) – सबसे श्रेष्ठ
- 🟡 Jews – सबसे नीचे, “anti-race”

👉 Darwin और Spencer के “Survival of the Fittest” theory को गलत तरीके से race पर लागू किया गया।
🌍 Lebensraum (Living Space)
- Hitler चाहता था कि Germany के लिए नए क्षेत्र जीते जाएं ताकि
Germans को रहने की जगह और resources मिलें। - Poland aur Eastern Europe को उसने इस experiment का “laboratory” बनाया 🧪

- Middle Ages से ही Jews को “Christ-killer” और “moneylender” के रूप में बदनाम किया गया था।
- Hitler ने इस पुराने hate को scientific theory बना दिया 😠
