poet is sad to lose his childhood. He asks himself if he lost her the day he could not find heaven and hell in his book of geography, as told to him by the elders.

Since he is not sure when he lost his childhood, he wants to know if he lost it the day he came to know about the hypocrisy of adults. He felt that he did not do what he preached. He preached a lot about love, but loved very little.



The poet asks himself if he had lost his childhood the day he realized that he could use his mind in any number of ways. He felt that he could think his own ideas independently without being influenced by other people’s ideas.

The poet not only wants to know when he lost his childhood, he also wants to know where his innocence has gone. He feels he has left it somewhere in the past. His childhood may have gone to an infant he used to be. But he is sure that he no longer has the joys of childhood, carelessness and innocence.
