The Voice of the Rain
The Voice of the Rain
The Voice of the Rain celebrates the rain and the accompanying water cycle that supports life and benefits the Earth. The poet recalled the conversation, saying that he was with the drops of falling rain. He asks Rains, ‘And who are you?’ And strangely, Rains calls himself the ‘poem of the earth’.
Rain says that it originates in the form of intangible vapor that rises from the earth’s land and deep water bodies to eternity. It reaches upwards towards the heavens in the form of clouds, impenetrable, indistinctly formed and completely changed.
Nevertheless, at its core, it remains the same as it was at birth. Then, it returns to its original, earth, in the form of raindrops to wash away the dust and drought-dry and rejuvenate the land.
The poet compares rain to a poem / song. A song is born in the heart of a human being and after giving happiness to the people and all return to the creator in appreciation. Likewise, rain is produced from the earth and the unfathomable sea; Clouds ascend to heaven and come down to give pleasure to their birthplace (earth) and make it clean, pure and beautiful.
