is a government scheme that the Prime Minister of India has started in January 2015. This scheme has been started to bring some positive changes in the Indian society in the social status of girls. In Indian society, a lot of restrictions are being imposed on little girls, which are obstacles in their proper growth and development. This scheme will prevent the incidents of violence, insecurity, gender discrimination against small girls.

In modern times instead of 18th century people, the mentality of women towards women is getting worse. While inaugurating this program, the Minister said that the general perception of the Indian people is that girls are alien money rather than their parents. The euphoria thinks that the boys are their own, who will take care of them in old age while the girls go to another house and serve their in-laws. About the girls, such mentality of people in the 21st century is really embarrassing and it is necessary to eradicate it with the mind of the people to give full rights to girls from birth. The situation of little girls was very bad in the last decade because the female feticide was spreading its leg on a large scale. Girls were killed in the womb of their mother before they were born by detecting gender through high tech. In order to reduce the number of girls, this practice was in circulation as well as the family considered the responsibility of a girl to be trivial.

Haryana was chosen as the best place to start the scheme as the sex ratio of girls (775 girls / 1000 boys) in the country is worst in Mahendragun district of Haryana.
