Elementary Education – He started his early education from Mumbai. (His childhood was spent in Mumbai.)
Higher Education – He studied in Agricultural Sciences in USA Thought to leave, but he did not go.
 Nickname – Gandhi of Rajasthan.
(Along with freedom fighter, he was a social activist, poet, journalist, multilingual writer.)
 He was an important revolutionary to awaken the national consciousness among the people of Rajasthan at the time of independence.
Death: – On 6 October 1986.

In 1920, Bhatt ji participated in the ‘Non-Cooperation Movement’.
  Gokulbhai was greatly influenced by Gandhiji’s thoughts and devotion to his country and abandoned the idea of ​​further study, and he jumped into the freedom struggle.
He was first arrested by the Mumbai government on 6 April 1921.
 He was arrested in 1930 during the ‘Salt Satyagraha’. He remained underground after his release from prison, due to which he was arrested again.
 He was arrested in Mumbai on 8 August for actively participating in the ‘Quit India Movement’ in 1942, and remained in jail for 4 years.
 Gokulbhai Bhatt propagated Khadi village industries, liquor ban, Gausseva, Naturopathy, village Swarajya, and Bhoodan movement.
 He laid great emphasis on water conservation.
 He contributed to Vinoba Bhave’s ‘Bhoodan Movement’ and made people aware.
 In 1940, people started wearing ‘flag-hoop caps’ with the inspiration of Gokul Bhai.
 In 1948 he was the Chairman of the “Welcome Committee” of the Jaipur Congress.
 On 22 January 1938, he formed the ‘Sirohi Prajamandal’ and during this assembly he was arrested in 1939.
 In 1946, the ‘Rajput Deshi Rajya Praja Parishad’ was constituted for the first time in a session of the ‘All India Native State Public Council’ organized under the chairmanship of Nehru, and Bhatt ji was elected the first president.
 Gokulbhai also became the Chief Minister of ‘Sirohi State’ for some time.

 Gokulbhai Bhatt was awarded the “Padma Bhushan Award”, the third highest civilian honor of the country by the Government of India in 1971.
 He was also awarded the ‘Jamnalal Bajaj Award’ in the year 1982.
 Gokulbhai Bhatt’s service life of nearly 50 years was very eventful.
