The Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal has become a symbol of India’s pride. It is ranked among the seven modern wonders of the world. There is a desire in every Indian to see the Taj Mahal once. Every foreigner coming to India sees the Taj Mahal and considers his journey incomplete. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan loved his wife Mumtaz very much. After the death of Mumtaz, Shah Jahan built a grand building in place of his mausoleum. The building was named Taj Mahal. it is made of white marble brought from Makrana. It is located on the banks of river Yamuna in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh. About twenty thousand workers worked day and night for twenty years to make it. Even today, the Taj Mahal stands proudly witnessing the hard work of those workers and artisans. Special measures have been taken by the local administration to prevent its glare. Cooperation of common people is also required to protect this.
taajamahal bhaarat ke gaurav ka prateek ban chuka hai. ise sansaar ke saat aadhunik aashcharyon mein sthaan praapt hai. har bhaaratavaasee ke man mein ek baar taajamahal dekhane kee ichchha zaroor hotee hai. bhaarat aanevaala har videshee taajamahal dekhe bana apanee yaatra adhooree samajhata hai. taajamahal ka nirmaan mugal baadashaah shaahajahaan ne kiya tha. shaahajahaan apanee begam mumataaj se bahut prem karata tha. mumataaj kee mrtyu hone par usake makabare ke sthaan par shaahajahaan ne ek bhavy imaarat ka nirmaan karaaya. is imaarat ka naam taajamahal rakha gaya. taajamahal makaraane se lae gae safed sangamaramar se nirmit hai. yah uttar pradesh ke aagara shahar mein yamuna nadee ke tat par sthit hai. ise banaane mein lagabhag bees hazaar mazadooron ne bees varsh tak din-raat kaam kiya. taajamahal aaj bhee un mazadooron evan kaareegaron ke parishram ka saakshee bana shaan se khada hai. isakee chamak dhoomil na ho pae, isake lie sthaaneey prashaasan dvaara vishesh upaay kie gae hain. taajamahal kee raksha mein aam logon ka sahayog bhee apekshit hai.
